216 Students and Counting...

It's still hard for me to believe that we are in our 12th season of MOOS and during those 12 seasons have served over 216 students!!! Not too shabby for a small program such as ours. Of those 216 students, 105 of them were different students from year to year. In other words almost half of our MOOS students were enrolled in our program for two or more seasons (with the most being 7 seasons!). This just goes to show the impact we have had on these well-deserving families and our reliability -since students and families keep returning to us year after year. I have had the privilege of serving within this program for 9 years now, and I can honestly say that I feel just as blessed as our MOOS families to be a part of a true community collaboration- joining two churches from two denominations - Covenant United Methodist Church and Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster- to form what we know as MOOS (Mornings On Orange Street). We all know the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." Well here at MOOS we are prime example of how a whole "village" is working together to support our students from Robert Fulton Elementary School. #collaboration #beforeschool #nonprofit

Brrrrr, it's cold outside...

All of this cold weather makes me think about the reason MOOS started in the first place. Think about this scenario: parents have to be at work early but don't have any affordable childcare options
